Identity 2.0 is the exploration of a new mindset that is preparing the ground for managing and sharing the various identies we build online. For example, wouldn't it be great if you could share your online credibility that you have built up with Amazon to another site like eBay?

This presentation by Dick Hardt from Sxip is a good starting point for getting a handle on what its all about. Apart from it being a presentation 2.0 format (inspired by Lawrence Lessig) it's a great introduction to what Identity 2.0 could be an how it may affect our daily transactions across the numerous communities we visit every day.
